Precision Race offers discounted registration for Military and 1st Responders

At Precision Race, we appreciate the service of the men and women in our military, Police, Fire Department, and EMS.  We are always proud to have the opportunity to be involved with races that are hosted by Military organizations.

In recognition of your service, Precision Race is offering our lowest race registration prices for the Oak City Mile to all military (active duty and veterans), all first responders, and Team RWB.  The Oak City Mile is a flat and fast 1-mile road race held on Hillsborough Street in downtown Raleigh on Sunday, September 11, 2016.  The event includes a competitive men's mile at 2 pm, a competitive women's mile at 2:20 pm, and an untimed recreational mile at 2:40 pm.  All 3 races are open to everyone, and the competitive mile races offer a $2,000 prize purse.

Precision Race has a history of working with events that support our military.  We recently returned from the US Military Academy at West Point where we timed the Department of Defense 2016 Warrior Games cycling competition.  Warrior Games is an adaptive sports competition for wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans.  250 athletes from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Coast Guard, Air Force, US Special Operations, and the United Kingdom Armed Forces competed in 8 sporting events.

Precision Race events supporting the US Military & Law Enforcement and related charities:

Welcome to our new web page

At Precision Race we strive to leverage technology to help create a great event experience.

THe majority of people now view website on mobile devices.  We have been working on bringing a new and fresh design to our website - enabled by the latest web technology for all types of devices - especially mobile devices.

Two major changes you may notice include the overall site navigation and the presentation of our event schedule and race results pages.

For layout, we recognized that there are two distinct drivers that bring  people to our website.  Athletes come to find races and race results.  Race organizations, while interested in schedule and results, also want to learn about our race management and race timing services.  The site is now organized for these user groups.

Gone from our event calendar and race results pages are tables filled with hyperlinks - replaced by a more graphical and engaging presentation with easy access to race info and registration and to race results.

Whether you visit using a laptop, tablet, or smartphone, we hope that you find our new website useful.

See you at the races!
